Surely you all know Australia is a blistering hot desert with 46 degree C days and freezing nights, sand storms, killer snakes everystep you take. Never rains here.
Spiders, one just carried my dog away. At least there are no sharks, the crocodiles eat them all. :roll: Maybe if you watch wildlife documentries, its the only time I ever see em.
Seriously, the weather in Brisbane in October is usualy great, usualy 27-29 degrees during the day, a chance of rain, but usualy sunny skies.
The firing mounds will all be nice but spongey grass, like laying on a thin foam matress.
OK, who said they hope it rains?
Looks like their wish came true. It has been a bit damp occaisioanly over the last few days so the competitiors looks like getting a few rain showers over the next 2 weeks.
