All the USA shooting forums agree that no antimony should be used. This ignores the fact that all .22 ammo makers use antimony and hence, range scrap contains antimony.
The real problem is hard, undersized bullets and antimony is a very effective hardener of bullets. Size your bullets to the throat dimension of the barrel and you can achieve accuracy with hard bullets. Dromia is quite right to say that hardness is not actually required and is is extremely undesirable if the bullets are slightly under size.
