i took my uni group over to jersey for some shooting, ended up being very cheap and a lot of fun, so much so that we now do it every year(and sometimes more than that)

Salut,
In my quest for shooting real full-bore hand-guns I have been travelling a lot to Europe (and the occasional shoot in the US). The US is fantastic for a week but obviously not for a W-E. Based on my previous experience, I think Easter/Central Europe is propably the best & cheapest for dedicated shooting W-E from the UK.
A lot of local companies there offer "shooting experiences packages" which tend to more for the "stag W-E" mob than for real shooters. IMO it works out quite expensive & not very satisfying. That lead me to organise "my own" for real shooters.
I am putting such a pistol shooting W-E together end of April in the Czech Republic. It works out €uro 200 (equivalent £ 155) per day all inclusive, hotel, food, transfers etc ... For that price you get un-limited access to a huge numbers of different guns and 200 rounds of 9 mm. The RO is both an ex French Foreign Legion Instructor & civilian Instructor who will be at hand to teach you the basic or help you out if you have any specific points you want to practice/improve. Extra ammo is at cost.
I organise those WE on a "shared-costs" basis. It is my hobby, I dont make anything out of it, hence why IMO it is kinda cheapest way to do it. A few Full-Bore members have travelled & taken part & were very happy.
