Shooting Abroad-on the cheap

#1 Post by Nelly2014 »

I would like to go on a bit of a shooting break but not being minted unlike some of you lot on here lol, I would like to know if there are any places off mainland UK where one can shoot varieties of guns we can't here like proper handguns and semi-auto center-fire? I would take the Mrs as she doesn't mind a pop herself which is another reason for keeping the cost down.

You could try the club in Knokke Heist.

A friend went and shot at a commercial club in Amsterdam. Lots of good stuff plus an outstanding restaurant and bar. I'll try and find out the name of the place. There are also several commercial ranges in places like the Czech Republic that offer holiday packages.

And there is always Northern Ireland, Isle of Man and the channel islands.

Kentucky USA isn't that expensive, for 2 it'd be around £3700 for a week. Trip of a lifetime for a shooter.
ARs, handguns, 3-gun, pistol matches, tuition and full auto for a few quid extra.

I think you missed the part where the OP mentioned the low cost part! I love shooting and all but to drop £3,700 on a weeks worth of shooting seems very expensive to me!!

Nelly, why not look at whether some shooting clubs in Ireland will accept FAC shooters? They have proper gats there for you to play around with.

Cub Kaliber is about 3.5km from my sons apartment but it's only a 20m range, wish it was 100m then I could take my rifles over on the ferry :)

I've always wondered about these guys. They really cater for stag dos but seem to have some fun toys.
I think they will sell you a t-shirt and then let you shoot holes in it.
