I don't think they available in Canada so I doubt they will be available in the UK either. Get what you want from the US, it's a small world these days.

Really nice job on the MkVI.
I have one of Alan Westlake's muzzle loading revolvers. Alan supplies the cylinders in bare metal and I would like to have this blued to match the rest of the gun. As the cylinder is already bare metal and polished, could I just apply the blue without any further metal prep?

For anyone wanting to have a bash at doing it themselves I strongly recommend getting hold of a copy of 'Firearms Bluing and Browning' R H Angier. It explains the process and gives hundreds of different recipes for Bluing and Browning and the applications. It is really worth the read and in my opinion is the definitive source on this subject.

It is also rather satisfying to do it yourself instead of buying a generic product off the shelf.

Les wrote:I've tried most of the usual cold bluing solutions, and I've found Ballistol Klever to be the best in terms of finish and longevity. I don't think any diy home bluing solution will match a professional hot blue finish, but Klever is very good.

Define professional hot blue finish.
