Yep, strange that with all the Mosin this pro outfit handled, I am surpised they confused the Romanian arsenal marking for a Tula's one .

I think you will find this is changing. Maritime Security was used an excuse to apply for S5 a few years ago however these days I am not so sure it is being accepted as there are now 'floating armouries' in place, so you can fly out and be issued with whatever on site.

Also I know some of the Maritime Security companies based here in the UK are using S1 firearms for training. Having said that there are still a lot of S5 owners over here and S5 firearms in private hands.

Triplex in Brum have an Chicken Gun, AK47 and an M16 to carry out NATO spec tests on windscreens.

Certainly a growing demand for old spec deactivated L1A1's for the maritime training role David..
