Lapua do a bullet for subsonic ammunition that is 200 grains, I think the weight is to try and maintain the speed and energy as long as possible. The heaviest I have in .308 are 190SMk's now I just need to find some suitable powder.

The .300 whisper uses bullets to 250 gr I believe.
At that velocity I would have thought cast boolits would be just as good and a damn sight cheaper.

Yes forgot it that day. 15 quid 15 quid :!: :!: I made mine from an old Soldier 95 shirt sleeve sewn up and filled with rice cost me about a quid :lol: :lol: so there saved myself 14 quid to spend on other stuff
