I reckon i could get through a 30 round mag in a straight pull AKM in a minute
With compulsory 5 round reloads and starting from 10 in the mag???????????? Aye, right!

No.....I said I could get through a 30 round mag in a minute, not reloading every five rounds!. Anyone tried it with a Ross?.

A "Mad minute" match was just arranged in Norway. The distance was 200 meters and a target of 40 cm (black circle). The winner got 36 hits in one minute! The trophy was sponsored by SIG SAUER, and the rifles used was the Sauer 200 STR in 6,5x55. They say this is world record, but according to Wikipedia, 36 hits was allready accomplished in 1908! Anyway, that was probably not in an official match.
I doubt anyone can shoot much faster than this with a bolt action, and actually hit the target.
