Dolphin Gun Company in Lincs expects to have the LabRadar very shortly - the first deliveries have taken place in the US. The general view is that it works as promised, but eats batteries and may suffer problems with small calibre bullets. Bryan L suffered failures with 0.224 FMJs and believes this may be a mixture of the small tail area, but also the dished rear end of FMJs. The LabRadar needs a flat bullet base surface to reflect off.

Several posts say that the company is contacting customers who pre-ordered machines and is advising them that the promised delivery dates are being put back by a couple of months.

the Labradar will also require a big tripod to stand it on. The adverts I have seen show the radar mounted at shoulder height.

So you have a bit of kit the size of a barn door that costs £450 mounted on a tripod that will cost another couple of hundred quid out on a windy day...guess what happens next.
