Just perusing your eclectic ranging of the forums I wondered if this shooting and gun ownership game is more of an intellectual rather than a practical pursuit for you.
its' both . I figure the intellectual side is needed by us all. One to enjoy and two to sometimes keep us in the right legally and avoid going to Her majesty's holiday camp for wayward subjects. I actually got the buckmark fired off last week, enjoyed it (I'd had a grandpower before and despite the difference in looks, the buckmark is the better quality LBP by far, easier to clean too). I mean who was it that said a truly balanced man is a warrior, artist and philosopher? I've never done the other two (I have my ideas for a water colour but thats about it) and I don't like fighting so I go for the last one. Is it wrong to ask questions of all you can. Plus I'm trying to save money . Besides I'm going to be very happy for everyone is what I've been doing behind the scenes pays off. I figured I needed to do some things for the greater (for uk shooters too). I'm not eloquent, I don't feel I can be a public speaker and I don't know how wise I am, but I like to think I know the difference between right and wrong. I'm mainly at Mattersey but I don't involve myself with comps as I don't have the time (working for a living does that). So I'm just recreation for now. Will do comps when I have more money when the qualifications are sorted (accountancy) I fancy Practical shotgun at that point maybe.
"I know a few VZ58 owners are on here and I don't want to get into trouble for this but I don't how or who to approach with.... oh its nothing I shouldn't say it on here. I'm also trying to future proof as I may have set in motion something coming to the UK, but its gonna be a while before I know I have, its legal and its practical to get it here (if the answer to all those is yes, the US dealer/gunsmith will aim to get them sent and they would be sold)“
If you dont know how,or who to approach why not tell us what it is?.That way someone on here with knowledge of such things may, or may not, be able to help or advise.
As it is obviously Firearms related you could end up in a mess legally very quickly so spare us all the riddles that have appeared in numerous posts promising things we will be interested in and tell us what it is.

its an exercise.... in saving money. I really only like shooting where I'm comfortable Dromia. I like Mattersey and Balby and due to Autism don't like change that much. I get somewhere and don't want to leave that much. But I have long term plans so when the time comes to move on to another club when I move. I'm prepared for it. Plus I just like to ask what people think.

I have someone on the uk end, they contacted me here even. I just don't want to reveal anything until him and the US guy have talked. So yes the UK dealer I'm in Contact with is a member of this forum. I guess I should have not said anything. But I really want to help everyone out in some way. I am aware of legal messes. Thats why I don't want to get everyone's hopes up. This is how much I can tell you. The US guy asked me for the uk law. I supplied him the current links and guidelines. In between work, its bedtime/lunchtime reading and if he feels good, he'll tell me and the fullbore member will talk with him and Iron out the rest of the details, tell him what he needs to do, etc. Also its a solution to a problem that gun owners in the UK and his (very restrictive state) have. Does that make it any clearer?
Another dimension is that the US guy does not want to reveal too much until after his State's legislator finishes their current session by the middle of June or so. Ok, he's in Connecticut and the example he cited to me was Stag arms with their 22 ar's. The politicians there found out about them (despite 22 ar's being around for a good while) and they went from being able to have whatever features they wanted on a 22 to the old 2 point feature centrefire semi's used there before the current post Sandy hook insanity. So he'd rather wait until they were not in session to reveal it publicly. But he'll reveal what he can for the uk legal side, if he feels comfortable. So are you and everyone else ok waiting? They'll be updates but it'll be sparse.
