What would you say would be a good price a shooter would pay for a good quality made bench as seen on there web site.
Remembering we shooters spend thousands on rifles/ scopes etc. so why not spend on a good quality bench you may spend hours at a time making ammo up.

Some of the reloading firms make such benches, nowhere near £550 a pop though...and I don't spend thousands on kit (not in one go anyway!) Last gun was £100, the one before that £180.

Mine is a Dexion frame with a kitchen worktop off-cut on it...and is about 3 feet wide to fit inside the end of a cupboard.
Quite a lot of VERY solid loading benches can be easily made using kitchen worktops - as per Phaedra's poor effort - OR for a more sturdy.
Just a case of ensuring secure fixing - to the wall and floor - so that the bench is rock solid.
A mate with less space than me uses his Dillon 550, on a Black & Decker Workmate that he got for a fiver.

I think that like reloading in general, the ideal set-up re. the bench will be a personal thing - and will also follow the reloading mindset & be more DIY than bespoke Chelsea-set rural rustic

£550+ gets me a lot of milsurp!.

It may say that - but VAT may already be included.

There is no way that a company offering products at £4k each can be selling them VAT free.

Look I am not getting into p*** match what is to much. I got and how much I paid for it "so what" I don't care.

If you are looking for a good strong reloading or work bench that could made to you speck they can do it. It's up-to you if like it and what you are willing to pay for it.

I am just letting you know of a UK place that can make you a bench. End of.

If you do Want to use a work mate as a starting point put some steel plate top and bottom across both of the moving tops and bolt thro then bolt to press . Served me well for two years before I built a bench bolted to the wall . Big thing I've found is choose good anchors to fix to the wall , mines solid with rawl bolts into brick but have heard of a few working loose with other fixings . It's suprising how much pressure you can develop pulling a lever at the end of a bench .
