I have a Mossberg JM 930 Pro - Section 1 Shotgun - takes 9 cartridges in the tube - my "need" being for Practical Shotgun Matches that get shot in the UK (club and IPSC).Les wrote:SevenSixTwo wrote:......
I doubt whether semi-auto shotguns and pistols are needed in European countries either, but they have them .... we don't.
Vermin, pigeons, crows etc. That's what I have my S1's down for alongside practical/target/clays.nickb834 wrote:I have a Mossberg JM 930 Pro - Section 1 Shotgun - takes 9 cartridges in the tube - my "need" being for Practical Shotgun Matches that get shot in the UK (club and IPSC).Les wrote:SevenSixTwo wrote:......

Other than PSG - There's justification for a Sec 1 shotgun for Rabbiting (Farmer for eg) although I understand that they aren't allowed for avian species (could be wrong but I currently don't shoot game / vermin as no permissions over land for it).
Plenty I have four, as long as I can keep the EU away from them. And how many handguns do you blokes in the UK have? And I'm talking about the ones without extended barrels and stocks
OK, you've got me there! :lol:ordnance wrote: Plenty I have four, as long as I can keep the EU away from them.
There was no argument the ban was not extended to some parts that's all. It wasn't extended to this part of the UK thanks to Mo Mowlam and most of our MP/S who opposed the ban. Maybe because we could see better than others that firearms were not a problem, but the people willing to use them for criminal purposes. Also people here don't seem of have the same anti-gun views as some in the rest of the UK.I have always thought the argument for ni IoM jersey etc having pistols and us not as a bit of a rubbish arrangement!
