Wish I'd gone now! 1.5 hours drive each way and ended up getting a 30 min 'supervised' shoot with a rifle that for some reason is shooting left!!

Ah well, next year I'll know better!

Fantastic 7 hours, well worth the drive up from Bedfordshire.

We met HeatherW762, 20series, bnz41, bobbob, sanselm, The Gun Pimp, spud, dodgyrog, gunsmoke, Westy and Laurie from the forum.
Absolutely fantastic to meet these people and amid all this babbling we forgot to take pictures!
I cannot believe we forgot to take pictures :(
We did not see CK, where were you?

This year the show was a lot better than last year regarding the decking, no movement underfoot and hardly any mud, the day held mostly dry.
The parking was fine, easy in and out. Grass was not too muddy despite us coming on the Sunday.
Loads of people, loads of dogs, loads of guns, loads of knives, people smiling and overall a very pleasant atmosphere.
Well done to the organisers.

We brought home with us a bipod as a template for the one Ovenpaa is making for me, thank you sanselm!
I saw a CG Inch action in the flesh, R.G.C well done for designing that and well done woody_rod for manufacturing it.

I am there next year all being well.
:D
Hi Christel, my grandson bought just one ticket at the UKBRR lottery - and won a Harris bipod!
Now I've got to give him my spare Anschutz that I rebuilt to fit it to - He's a lucky boy.

Looks like this is the start of our next shopping list :)

It was good to meet four forum members. I suggest when you all go on the forum shoot to Diggle that you won't need much ammo, too much chatting to do ;) .

One thing I noticed was the number of very well behaved dogs walking around. We all say that shooting can teach children discipline, seems like it work for dogs too. When Bnz and I are out and about doing our other hobby we see plenty of dogs. They always seem to snap and snarl at one another.

I am not as serious about shooting as people on here but I enjoyed the show. It was good talking to Chris, Heather's husband about the NRA, seriously thinking of joining.

Hope everyone got home safely.

I had loads of biccies with me but was so busy chatting I forgot all about them!!!!!

It was great meeting you all and putting faces to names/handles.

Very expensive weekend for us. As soon as Chris & I get our FAC's altered we will be proud owners of a pair of .22LR long barrel Colt 1911's then Chris can teach me to shoot it. At long last something we both want to do :D

I had a good look at them on the stand, very nice indeed, they have a nice weight and a good feel and build to them. I do wonder how long before someone drops a nice light moderator onto one. It would be a very easy engineering build and has to be worth a try (I assume moderator's on such things are legal over here?)

It was good to meet up and have a chat as well.

Not only is he the nicest kid I have met for a long time, he is indeed also very lucky.

Great to see you both at the show. You should have taken a photo, you might have damaged your camera?
