Good looking trio Sandgroper, I find myself coming back to this thread from time to time just to look at the pictures.

Bugger, am I turning into a Sun reader?

"Sun" and "reader" ?

Bit of an oxymoron, don't you think ?

No, on reflection, probably not, if you are...

I'll get sorted and take some better pictures of all three. At the moment I'm wondering how I could justify (and afford) another carbine. A Mosin Nagant M38 or M44 would be nice but I'd be happy with just one extra original Destroyer magazine. Sigh!

The Sett Armourer, http://www.thamesvalleyguns.co.uk/ often has 'em in at a good price...

Unfortunately, both cabinets are full and money is scarce.
Any tips for the Carcano?
The 140g grain cast bullet over 10g of Unique would be a good start point if you are shooting cast SG.

I hope you get as much pleasure from owning and shooting it as I did, it's a great little rifle.

Cheers Joe. I've got some of those cast bullets from the lesson Adam gave me in casting.

It's those types of rifles that makes me open the cabinet just because they're in there. :good:
