Hi dirtbag.

Oh yes... but now with an original bolt body (jr one removed seemed over size) action alot smoother, and also an original 1944 scope and mount. Will be taking it out to longer ranges over the next few months.

Hi dirtbag.
This is the guy I got the mount and scope from, he said 100% original and they are.. Good to deal with I think he only sells Russian items.

The scope/mount in the pictures is for sale.

Nice Mosin Neil! :goodjob:

I'm going to have a look at a few PU's this week! I had a bit of money with Christmas and Birthday so it's about time I buy something I can get some enjoyment from.

Fingers crossed! party2

bnz41 wrote:Yes some have said it's a repro on other forums, but that does not bother me, it's all about how it shoots, and it out shoots a lot of more modern stuff even with me squeezing the trigger. I reload the ammo for it so I know what is the correct mix for it. Powder to FMJ bullet weight etc.
Could you share your load data, powder etc as I have the same rifle as you but until now I have been using the milsurp ammo, and have still been able to hit the vbull at 900yds.

Good stuff bnz, I (like crystal) had a m9130 tula with a post war Repro PE with focus, which I sold to fund my period one. I sold a perfectly shooting gun just to fulfil my purism fetish... white coats are coming to get me ?
Glad you did.. sign92 ...and it is still shooting perfectly...out to 1,000 yards last year....hope to put quite a few rounds through it this year too..... :good:
