BSA MkII International light weight .

#1 Post by Dave 101 »

I decided to take the old gal to the range today for some Bench rest , first time for a few months , I had some Eley Team in the cabinet so I thought I would use that at 25 yds . I used 100 rounds , 5 to zero then I just walked it in , strings of 5 shot groups , a couple of clicks at a time .
It has a Simmons scope with variable mag but set at 24x , for a rifle 56 years old it does well .

Good shooting. I was shooting my 12/15 off my elbows today and it shoots great.

That's a tidy looking rifle.
It's not the pace of life that concerns me, it's the sudden stop at the end!

My home club has a few Martini-actioned BSAs knocking around. They've scoped them and use them for benchrest matches at 25yds. Very accurate rifles given their age!

Nice shooting. :)
