.303 British Prvi Brass

#1 Post by Blu »

I just found a pretty good deal on .303 (British) Prvi brass. Has anyone used this brass? If so what are your thoughts on it? Is the stuff any good?

Thanks in advance for any and all replies.

You'll be ok with that, I find it resizes easily just keep an eye on the length it might want trimming back

Alan, cheers for the info mate, At $30 for a hundred and looking around that's a good price. I just bought their last 400. I also did some checking around on other gun forums and read some good stuff about .303 Prvi. The stuff I bought is annealed and from what I've read a little thicker than other commercial brass, I suspect this stuff is military surplus and it is boxer.

I find Privi rifle brass good quality and provided you neck size only-you should be able to reload it many many times.

Prvi brass is fine I use a lot of it. I find it cheaper to buy the loaded rounds when comparing tham against virgin brass and have the pleasure of shooting them of ending up with good fireformed cases.

Dromia, I understand what you mean, as I said though it was a good price and I get to reload them and still have the fun of fire forming them. Not a bad deal all in all.
