Returning Targets.

#1 Post by dromia »

Exploring the possibility of installing these along with turning targets on a 25 yrd indoor range.

I'm looking for contacts for suppliers.

Also any experiences people have of them, maintenance, warranty, functionality etc.

I'm also looking for contacts for ranges that use them so I can have a look and get their experiences of the kit they are using.

We used to have a set at Wilton indoor range. The club I started shooting with many moons ago. They were driven by a compressor and a set of hydraulic rams on a timer. They were very reliable and easy to set up I seem to remember.
Unfortuanetly they went in the scrap bin when they stole our pistols of us.
Not very help full but your question brought back a lot of very pleasent memories full bore .357 revolver on turning targets. Speed loaders yessssssssssss. bangbang

Thanks Dave, we've been looking at the Indelfa-tech site and we would like some other providers for comparison.

A lot of us live in the past as memory is the only way we can now shoot what we want.

http://www.mayfairshootingcentre.co.uk/ uses returning targets and it does make life a lot easier than having to stop fire to change targets.

http://www.webjam.com/csac uses turning targets so might be able to offer some advice

Dromia, emails inbound this afternoon.
It's not the pace of life that concerns me, it's the sudden stop at the end!

Thanks Blackstuff, I knew about the Mayfair I'm going to pop down to have a look and a bit crack. Where's the best place to park?

Most people park in what i can only assume is supposed to be the turning head of Otto Terrace

However depending what time you go you can sometimes get parked outside the club/adjacent garage but you do run the risk of a ticket here
