i have tried but I keep getting this message...

The image must be at least 0 pixels wide, 0 pixels high and at most 800 pixels wide and 600 pixels high. The submitted image is 2592 pixels wide and 1456 pixels high.

it is marked

Parker Hale
RM 303
INCH
PATTERN
1914

It has screw adjuster either side and the cut out certainly looks like the profile of a P14 front sight assembly.

They are quite rare. Parker Hale made some in the 1920's and 30's. Winchester made some at the same time that they made the rifles. I am fortunate in that I have an original Winchester made one that is even rarer than the Parker Hale ones. In service the foresight was often adjusted using a brass drift and hammer as there were never enough of the correct adjusters made. I did see one on e-bay last year and it sold for over £300. I picked mine up at the Phoenix a couple of years ago for £5 from a vendor who did not know what it was for. I was merciless in not telling him what he had.
