Bah, i've just realised YouTube has stripped the soundtrack off the video (damn copyright laws!!) Maybe if i put classical music on that won't be covered :?: Yes it records sound but the microphone is inside the battery cap housing so it is muffled (not much though for point blank gun shots :lol: ) Its designed like that on purpose so that it doesn't pick up any wind-rushing sound, and it allows it to be water tight.
It uses SD memory cards (the big type) up to 4gb which would give you about 4 hours recording time. The model i used uses 2 x AA batteries but you can get them with inbuilt rechargeable units. I'm not sure about the standby time (i take the batts out as soon as i'm finished anyway), but at nominal temperature Li-on batts give you 2-3hrs recording time.
This is my friends camera ATC2k i think is its designation;

Pastoral music inter spaced with KERrrrr...Lannnnnggg! Absolutely brilliant and for thirty quid I have go to have one. Now I just have to work out where to place the camera on the target for maximum effect. I am thinking looking up at the target could be interesting.
