Forum DNS records

#1 Post by Polchraine »

Is there a problem? I cannot access the forum when I use http://www.full-bore.co.uk although using http://109.203.120.4 brings it up fine.

I experienced this for a while this morning but it seems to have resolved itself now, so I'm no help at all I'm afraid!

Got this from our host when I asked...
We were facing DNS issue with the server due to which sites hosted on the same server were facing access issue. Now the issue has been resolved by our senior admin. Now your site http://full-bore.co.uk/ is loading fine without any problem.
I can see we are still having issues so take the above with a pinch of salt tongueout

Yep, wasn't loading this morning but has been fine for the last few hours.

As of yesterday afternoon it should have been resolved.

Status is not indicating anything and the ticket I submitted says all clear.

Might be worth a try to clear the DNS cache of your computer...especially if you are seeing 404 errors.

Windows® XP, 2000, or Vista®

Open the Start menu.
Go to Run.
If you do not see the Run command in Vista, search for "run" in the Search bar.
In the Run text box, type: ipconfig /flushdns
Press Enter or Return, and your cache will be flushed.
