10/22 ATI Stock

#1 Post by bobbob »

Ordered one of these today. Had a look at one and it looks quite good for a little fun gun for our club range. http://www.atigunstocks.com/stocks/436- ... stock.html

We also have a donor Ruger 10/22 being held at a dealers. Just need to get the variation done after our Fungunners shoot on the 26th. bangbang

bobbob, I put an ATI Strikefire on the Ruger Mini 14. For the money, I am really impressed. In fact, I would have been impressed even if it had cost more! The only down side is the folding/collapsable stock. It wobbles. Not a great deal, but it wobbles....... but then so did the 6 position stock on a two and a half grand SGC.......!!!
In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

If you don't mind me asking Bobbob how much did it cost?

I've never been a huge fan of 10/22s but the ATI stock looks awesome and if the money is right

I have read a couple of good articles on people taking the 10/22 receiver and barrel and fitting them into various Airsoft bodies so you get exactly the look you want, effectively a wardrobe for your Ruger.

Looks like fun, but I did have to supress a laugh at this bit in the manufacturer's blurb...
Recoil Impact is Absorbed – Shooting any Load Size can now be Done with No Pain being Transferred to the Shooter
Now I don't know about you, but I've never found recoil to be that much of an issue with my 10/22!
