Advice on Rem 1100 tactical project
My old rem 1100 has seen better days, so I am thinking of doing some "tactical" looking changes
I am looking for some advice and tips
Anyone know where to get pistol grip stocks etc
Anyone got any pics of their own projects ?

The Ford Escort of shotguns,
Somehow I did not buy one but know several who have. First place I would look is on eBay - world wide, Amazon and then Brownell's - Not sure what furniture you would get for under $100 though.
If not a member of the UKPSA you might ask someone who is to put out a "shout" for any unwanted bits, I am sure there is a lot out there that are not being used for what ever reason that people may pass on,

I did the same to an old 1100 about 10 years ago now. Put a Choate pistol grip stock and forend on, Daves Metal Works Easyloader, Big Bump Safety, Choate extended mag tube, a Cutts Compensator and a Tac-Star Side Saddle! I even added a set of iron sights that fitted on the barrel rib.......! It looked and shot the business! I eventually did almost exactly the same to my Remy 870 as well, so had a "matching pair"!
I got all of the bits from Brownells. Except for the compensators, everything else was a drop in fit. In the end after running them both for a couple of years, sold them and got enough money for a Benelli M2!
I did hear that Brownells though, will only ship shotgun parts to a US address now. Don't know if there's any truth in that as I haven't ordered shotgun parts since the above were finished....

In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

Interesting, is it under $100 or have they by any chance changed their criteria? I did read something re the rules being relaxed but thought it would take years to happen,
