Well here it is Mk1 in place, just needs a tidy up however I wanted to confirm function first of all.

I like the look of what you've done so far. If you're shooting off a bipod would a left-hand cocking handle (biathlon-style) be more ergonomic than a right-hand one?
Is there much resistance to opening the bolt? I have only experienced a Swiss K31 action which requires a touch of brutality to slam the bolt backwards, followed by an equally vigorous return push to ensure that the bolt goes into battery.

It is fairly light to operate and all I need to do is pull it back and let go, the spring carries the bolt forward and picks the next round up in the process.
