Whilst blatting around on the Internet yesterday I came across a set of safety glasses that caught my attention - the ESS Crossbow and then the ESS Crossbow suppressor.
The one moan I have with my Oakley M Frames is that the legs are thick enough to prevent a seal with my ear muffs and they cause a pressure point which encourages you to lift your muffs to relieve the pressure - normally ass someone with a black powder hand cannon lets loose.
The ESS Suppressor have legs that are designed to go under ear muffs, create a good seal and not pinch.
The other features with these glasses are consistent with the best part of the Oakley's with possibly one other difference. ESS claim that they put on their anti for layer and anti scratch layers independently, thus resulting in the lenses getting a 100% coating of each where it is suppose to be. They claim that other makers mix the two solutions resulting in a mix of results.
Having read a couple of independent reviews, the reviewers do say that the anti fog and anti scratch layers do work.
So at around £60+ from the USA, I am thinking of getting a pair but before I splash the cash, has anyone any experience of these specifically or of other ESS products?

(eBay has several pairs of ESS glasses but few suppressors on sale. It appears that a model has been issued to the troops and they are selling new and used examples).

Re: ESS Crossbow Suppressor safety glasses
Ive got a set, got them from tactical Kit for £75. Like you I found my Oakley's not ideal with ear protection.
I am more than happy with the ESS and have had no issues.

I use these and really like them.

They come with a set of ordinary legs as well as the ear plug ones shown and they fit well under my MSA muffs, the muffs have gel ear pads and that helps with the spec legs as well.

Dromia - Interesting concept
Unfortunately the good lord - or was it a mid wife, gave me ears that are not level, thus I can only wear glasses with legs that don't rely on my ears to stay on. Normally I will have one leg touching and one above.
It all adds to my beauty zzzzom

No experience with ESS...
While surfing Heinnie for a suitable knife I came across these...
....as you do....

Got a pair but have not been shooting with them yet. Anti fog, sits very snugly on your head, I chose the amber ones.
