Blackgun Biathlon type cocking handle
I have been thinking about changing the cocking lever on the Blackgun for a while, some sort of Biathlon type action maybe, or just a longer lever with the handle stepped out slightly and in a more vertical position, really the only reason for this is to be able to cycle the rifle without disturbing my position unduly.
Has anyone seen anything like this of have any views on such a device?

Re: Blackgun Biathlon type cocking handle
By far the nicest looking is the lantac design, I would start from there,

Does your AR have a case deflector, ejection port cover or a forward assist? If so i don't think you'd be able to fit the normal type for straight pull AR's as shown below;

This type is pretty standard on SGC and Bradley Arms AR's but if you've got an authentic upper i think it'd have to be replaced to be able to fit one like this.

One persons 'improvement' is anothers mod that needs removing. Difference is of course, black guns can be tailored to the individual, you're not just lumped, with a lump of wood :55:dromia wrote:Interesting how its all the new, black placcy bin bag, guns that need "improving".

Tinkering, I prefer to look on it as personalising.
Blackstuff, that is how mine looks apart from I have removed the left hand cocking lever and added a T profile filler plate:

This is the sort of lever I was thinking of for the RHS (very quick sketch!)
