Any Bisley closures planned....?
As I sit here, again looking out of the window instead of on the range, because of the broken elbow, I'm wondering about getting a couple of days shooting in at Bisley when I can and before I go back to work!!
So, anyone know of any planned closures of the ranges early to mid July?

In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

I think Bisley will be pretty much closed to casual use because the Imperial is on 27June until21 July.
Best phone the range office to confirm.

The HBSA have a mini-Arms Fair on 7th/8th July in a marquee
Not sure if any of the zero ranges will be open

Century is usually available on the Sunday afternoon that ISCRM finishes. The cadets shoot their finals in the morning and the afternoon is clear for whoever wants it. Worth checking with the Range Office, might have changed since my days as a beardless yoof!

There are quite a few places during the Imperial where casual bookings can be taken but you do need to contact the Range Office for details

Thanks for the input, I appreciate it. I knew there was "stuff" coming up, but didn't know when or what could be shot whilst this other malarky was taking place....

Other malarky?
What do you want to shoot? There might be a competition you can win somewhere!
And then there's the social life attached to the Imperial . . .

Our club were booked for Short Siberia for the 7th of July but it has been cancelled. Bnz has made enquiries about booking anything for that weekend and has been told there is nothing available. If there was something we could maybe have arranged a get together.
