reclassify .22 pistols petition

Hi, I stumbled across the government e petition to have the .22 pistol reclassified as a class 1 firearm.

This petition has been doing the rounds for well over a year. Unfortunately, the painful truth is that petitions like this will never get its 100,000 signatures from shooters, as a lot will not sign for a number of reasons; they don't feel it's worth it, they feel it will put them more on the police's radar, they don't care about pistols (looking at you, shotgunners *I'm joking, calm down*), and numerous other situations.

The second painful truth is that even *if* it got 100,000 to be brought up in the House of Commons, there is nothing to stop the Higher Ups from simply saying "Nope, none of that. Next?"
