Putting my (former) work hat on, have you written to the publishers and told them their magazines are crap? More importantly, have you told them what you DO want to see?

Modern newspaper & magazine publishers are run by career businessmen who don't give two hoots what the product's like as long as the money keeps flowing in, and staffed by fresh-out-of-uni graduates who haven't got the foggiest idea what they're writing about. Tell them what's crap, tell them what you want to see instead of the crap, and you might just see an improvement in quality.

I thought Guns review was an excellent all round magazine. I still have a few copies, ones that have special connections with the past. - Scanning the ads really makes you aware of how much our freedoms have been eroded in such a very short time. Not just the pistols but things like semi-auto rifles etc. - The problem is that it is still happening, little by little, bit by bit. The process is so gradual and we all willingly comply. Keep you airguns locked up, keep a log of all reloads, show your ticket for primers, powder, expanding bullets etc. etc.
