Naked BRNO

#1 Post by Stal1878 »

Alright chaps.

I am taking my 4-16x50 scope off my '67 mod 2 and putting the old 3-9x40 back on because the bigger scope is hopefully going on a 17hmr(FAC is away for a variation on this at the moment, hope I am not temping fate here).
When I had it off it struck me what a lovely looking rifle it is bare, and its almost a shame to put a scope on it.
Thinking about it I should have put in for another .22 as well so I could have one with iron sights, to late for that now though :(

What do you lot think?

Yea the scope will go back on as its not fair to shoot bunnies without it(not for me anyway).

That table has a whole litre of hammerite on it :D

A few places in the USA make nice simple aperture sights for the Mod 2 - which would be a good idea seeing as your normal rearsight is missing

Iron sights out to 35- 40 yards would be fun to try, test on paper first though.
