Re: NRA 2012 Summer Journal
So I could pay the £4.25 cover price or download it for free.
Interesting to see that the editor's changed. I do like the results table in the English XX writeup - probably worth rolling that out to other matches.
One thing they do need to improve on is the picture captions. Where are they??
Only other moan is the caption on the picture of the Olympic shooting venue. I'd have liked to have seen some proper criticism of the £50 million they're wasting on that, while continuing to support the shooters competing.
Congrats to the ad sales team - one hopes the journal's getting near cost neutral with that number of advertisements.
Incidentally, I saw at least one of the people "permanently expelled from the Camp and Ranges" wandering around the Phoenix meeting.

Re: NRA 2012 Summer Journal
Mine arrived yesterday. 66 pages and a lot of that seemed to be adverts, actual content seemed down and I suspect a few more articles submitted would probably go down well.
Anyone? I am sure there are many things forum members could contribute.

Re: NRA 2012 Summer Journal
Its working for me. Agree that its quite heavy on adverts but then the ideal has to be that its cost neutral and the old version was way over the other way I suspect.
More articles would help but its got a much broader appeal for the likes of me who lives 200+ miles from Bisley. Maybe I'll do a write up about Altcar!
I'd be interested in the background to the disciplinary actions taken. Some are self explanatory but some might warrant an explanation.

Yes, I also noticed there were a few at the back of the magazine, mostly for changing score cards by the look of it, I do not have the GR Handbook so I cannot comment on that one.
