Re: What was your Phoenix bargain?
Some cases for my 7.5x55 from dodgyrog. Had the majority cleaned by the evening, ready to deprime and size. My bargain of the day had to be some JD Glop, thanks ovenpaa.
I was interested in an obsolete Schmidt Rubin but the price was a bit high for the condition. It did seem busy and people did seem to be pushing a lot

Re: What was your Phoenix bargain?
I went down on Friday this year, had a chat with Dromia and a civilised poke about without the crowds. I was very please with a little scope for my .22 from Brian Fox, it's a 2.5-10x50 illuminated, side focus, with a 30mm tube. Excellent glass for a cheap scope (£105)

A supine/back position Match Rifle in .303" complete with correct optical sights, in a stock made by John Knott who competed for Britain in the 1948 Olympics........will post some piccys when I collect it, once the variation is through.
Re: What was your Phoenix bargain?
Some .45ACP brass from dodgyrog (do I get discount for counting it all out myself?). A tub of Unique and some LP primers, not really a good price but less than the postage would be if I ordered on-line.
What did I miss out on, the pimped GSG-5 that dromia was selling...........

Did anyone see the TruFlite barrel clamp stock at Fox Firearms?
Rather interesting, not sure I like the wood on it though, looks at tad wrong to me. Maybe it is the shape...

Re: What was your Phoenix bargain?
The TrueFlite stock was an engineering masterpiece designed by someone that was given far too much time on the CNC. Amazing thing.

There's room for all Gods creatures, next to the mash and gravy :)
Re: What was your Phoenix bargain?
I have a feeling it was indeed a Titanium.
