Likewise and many thanks for the plink on the 9mm, I have no idea how far it spits the cases but I found two in my range bag when I got home.

Ovenpaa, what is the barrel length and twist rate of the rifle? I want to make a comparison on something I have going here.

Your welcome, cases fly all over but it is addictive as I said the best UK legal zombie gun. Let me know how you get on with the 69 grain smk heads

Blu, 1:8 twist 20" barrel chambered in .223 Wylde which is really just a long throated .223 that accepts 5,56x45 and long pointy things, as an example I can build 80gr SMK's to 2.500"+ if I was prepared to hand feed them.Blu wrote:Ovenpaa, what is the barrel length and twist rate of the rifle? Re: Reloading for the .223
Primer after shooting with 25 grains of TR140 with load as previous posts. I certainly think it is worth pursuing as a load.
Re: Reloading for the .223
ovenpaa, try starting at 24grns and work up in one grain increments. Just saying is all and you might be pleasantly surprised around the 24.5 mark.

Blu,
Have you tried Hodgdons CFE 223? The figures seem fairly impressive.

Sandgroper, I actually have some on the shelf next door but I haven't tried it yet, been busy loading hundreds of rounds for the people coming to visit over the summer. They always want to take out the cool toys (I blame Hollywood). Hey I'm happy to play with my Enfields and such while they do.

Re: Reloading for the .223
Blue do you mean start at 24 and go up in 1 grains or 0.1 grain increments with TR140/N140?

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts on it, that is, when you get a chance to try it out.Blu wrote:Sandgroper, I actually have some on the shelf next door but I haven't tried it yet, been busy loading hundreds of rounds for the people coming to visit over the summer.
