A few weeks ago I loaded a batch of 223 - I'm a fairly recent recruit to reloading.
When I took them to the range the first few didn't fire and we worked out that I'd pushed the primers in too far resulting in a light strike (not something I'll do again)
So today I bought a bullet puller and rescued the heads and powder from the whole batch. I put all the cases through my rifle and fired off all the primers - the only ones that didn't "bang" were the first few from the range day - the rest were all fine sign01
You've got to laugh I suppose.....

Argh.... I have not done that but I did have a spate of duff primers on new unfired cases, it turned out the cases which were being fire formed were jumping forward in the chamber because the OAL was a few thou to short to jam the case in place.
