a nation of shop keepers

Had a good experience with a gun shop or rifle maker? Found a good deal? Tell us about it. Had a bad experience, TELL THE GUN SHOP!

Posting of negative comments in the Gunshop section could bring unwanted criticism on the forum, having said that it is important to let members know if dealings with a Gunshop were less than ideal for you. To that end we will allow what will be known as the 'Scotsgun Ruling'

The Scotsgun Ruling:

>Add Gun Shop here<

"As I've yet to have a 'positive' experience there, I'll refrain from commenting further."

Beyond that please take it up with the Gunshop, if you do resolve the issue in a agreeable manner let us know!

Sportsman, I rang up for 6.5x47 bass once as it was not listed on the site, as luck had it the person who answered was in the stores and said he could see 2x100 boxes at............GBP60/box. I hung up slightly confused at the price and checked another site. WOW! So I called back on the spot to get it and the person I spoke to denied it existing, not on the computer etc, I persevered and he asked someone and yes sure enough they had the two boxes at that price. I distinctly remember his words.

"I assume you will be taking the lot"? There was an audible sigh afterwards. Hehehe!

Vince

Being nice to your regular customers is all well in good but if you want new customers you need to treat people you dont know in a polite, friendly and helpful way.

Having a stock of hard to find things is all well and good but holding your customers to hostage with this is not good business practice.

Tim Hannams had me sorted out in 10 minutes.
