I think it was $40 so unlikely to be the real deal,

I am starting to have more sights than the National Trust!
These arrived this week and I could not be happier with them:

They have come in DUECK DEFENCE packaging and if it was not for mention of using the supplied glue, which was not supplied, in the fitting instructions I would not have known that they were not the real thing. A quick search of the Internet shows that the real Dueck sights sell for around £260 in the UK and are not much cheaper in the USA!
The real deal:

They are all metal construction, have positive adjustments and more importantly work spot on when the gun is rotated 45 degrees. As earlier mentioned I tried this with a red dot but was not 100% comfortable with that set up. These will allow me to use a scope for the 25 and 50 yard work then open sights for the closer stuff.
For $40 delivered I would happily recommend these to a friend.
I did take some pictures but the server that I use to download appears to be out today, will download at a later date.

Cheers Neil - but these look like they will be good on the 45 degree angle used with the scope for PRbnz41 wrote:Hi Mike

The glue was just some Blue loctite for the threads. I have lots so will add some when I am happy with the position etc,

Re LCJ magazines : http://www.lcjwholesalestore.com/AR_Magazines.html
I ordered several magazines in February to be delivered to an old colleague who lives in New Mexico and will be coming home next month.
The order took up to April to arrive and was missing a magazine, that has now arrived this week.
The company claimed to be doing a stock take and did communicate whenever contacted, but did try to take payment twice claiming to have lost my details the first time and reassuring me that nothing had been processed when it had. They admitted their mistake when details were provided.
Should you be using them, (a) beware that their overseas P&P is outrageous and (b) you may end up having to chase them up repeatedly before you see anything. I would recommend that should you try to buy anything from them that you use your credit card and use posting that can be tracked etc.
It looks like I will only just get them minutes before the Phoenix, all touch and go if I can enter anything or not - probably do it all on the day!

I had a friend here today looking at my 9mm photos and mentioned the earlier Uzi mag versions, he threw away a box full of them when he came back from South Africa

There's room for all Gods creatures, next to the mash and gravy :)
