Down?

#1 Post by Polchraine »

Has the forum been down?

Could not get anything until about 08:36 ... and there have been no posts since late yesterday evening.

Down for us this morning until a couple of minutes ago. Was OK when I logged off around midnight last night.

You beat me to it O:-)

Another DDOS, looks like most of the night.

It was logged at 4.45 am but judging from the last post it very likely started earlier. Just had an update saying the server is back.

Apologies :bad:

Bobbob, I think you were the last one to post before it went down.

It does make me wonder what is on our server that people feel needs to be DOS'd. we are on a static IP but share our server with other sites, a quick look shows nothing untoward.

I wish Mrs Mouse went down as often...

Perhaps a big dose of paranoia, but I have noticed that I have had to sign in again on both occasions preceding a crash. Apart from those two occasions I have not had to sign in for a long time now,

The Horror!

Got up this morning, fed the cats, made my cup of tea and 2 slices of jammy toast and went for my morning peruse of the world ............... and no forum!!!

It was so bad I almost had to speak to another human being to find out what was going on in the outside world!.
There's room for all Gods creatures, next to the mash and gravy :)
