Bag riders for the rear of rifles that do not have flat bottoms, with one of these fitted the rifle tracks nicely over the rear bag. I am especially pleased with the little sticker on it
This one comes into the weight range of a size 10 (Is that sexist?) At a reasonably svelte 120 grams however I have built them sub 100 grams for the super skinny size 8 look.
Size zero at 75 grams is available if required for those running truly lardy rifles

Fultons have a rifle for sale with a bag rider on it - I'd seen it months ago but didn't know what the attachment was for. I hate to use the word (winds me up at work), but the little Shooting Shed sticker means you now have your own 'brand'
Question: Do you shoot with exactly the same position and shoulder contact as normal?
Style of shooting is down to the individual, the front has to be supported with a bipod or rest and the rear with a bag and the shooters position is whatever they feel comfortable with, either shoulder tight to the butt or use the shoulder as a stop and shoot semi free recoil are the norm, I tend to shoot the latter with my F Class rifle.

Drat, I knew I had forgotten something, remind me of the sizes and I will order some stainless caps heads in. Also I would be interested to know the all up weight of your rifle when you get a minute - PM is fine

I can build an uber exotic skinny version if needed, I have most of the material already, I was reckoning on 75 grams but I could go lighter :shakeshout:

Was going to try my Steyr on a rear bag using the adjustable butt plate dropped down then saw your post ...................
10mins and a 1/4" drill bit later it's gone from this ......
To this ..............
It's a short stabiliser from my compound bow, it will do to see if the idea works for me as I have problems lying prone due to my disabilities and can't always keep a good mounting position (!!).
There's room for all Gods creatures, next to the mash and gravy :)

A common mistake that people make when trying to design something completely foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools!!

Brilliant job, you must report back on how much of a difference it makes.
