I'm heading over in June - I was hoping to be bringing some stuff back... (Mag and trigger guard for the Rem 700, maybe an aftermarket trigger, and if I can bring myself to spend the cash, maybe an M-24 HS-Precision Stock...) - hopefully I won't have too much trouble banging these in a case?!

If I were you I could contact the export people at the US Embassy in the UK and in Washington and find out what you can and cannot bring back in.TattooedGun wrote:I'm heading over in June - I was hoping to be bringing some stuff back... I wanted to pick up an EoTech sight when I was there a couple years back and there is no way you can get one sent via airmail but all I had to do after speaking to them was bring it through in my hand luggage and declare it for personal use only and not to be resold, I had a copy of the embassy letter just in case thou.

I always put a copy of the email I got from the TSA deputy director in each case when bringing stuff back. It states that bullets (heads), brass, reloading presses/equipment and scopes can be brought back OK, it also advises that scopes are placed in hand luggage for better protection.
