The guy is shooting exploding targets above his head with no eye protection!
Good luck to him,

I am not convinced they are the invaluable sniper aid we are led to believe but I can see the attraction of pinking at them on a private range at 600m

Re: Anyone tried these?
Last year at the Bisley fair I was working the Butts and these were on display... they really do take a pounding to go off (A screwdriver doesnt cut it apparently!)... Wish I'da brought one away with me to try out, but would be fun for "fly shoot" type stuff at 600y+ everyone would see instantly if you hit it!
Other than that its a bit gimmicky

Re: Anyone tried these?
I tried one at our local range, using a .22 There is a fair old flash and a bit of smoke,a bit of fun but worth £1 ? I dont think so. Ideal to get someone hooked on shooting
Re: Anyone tried these?
Well obviously that explosion is too small for my liking. If I packed black powder or flash powder around these, would it act as a detonator when shot? :-P
Re: Anyone tried these?
Porcupine, you could always have a go at making your own with Nitrogen triiodide which is easily built, downside is it is very unstable once dry.
