Busy busy busy - you would not believe how many photos one team can take!

Anyway have a look at website in an hour or so and there will be LOTS of pics

Its LOVELY here - bit of rain (well a small monsoon) for 20 mins but other than that its just about the right temperature. Team are shooting today and I'm in hotel updating website (about 6 hours spent on it today so far). Done diary and some pics but lots more to go . . .

"Conditions were perfect, not too hot, and with no sign of rain, except for Simon, who managed to get a bit damp whilst still indoors, courtesy of a sightly leaky monkey above him."

Thanks for all your good wishes.

Over the weekend we had an intensive 2 days with Nottingham Road Rifle Club, which may have the prettiest range on the planet. Photos to follow soon on our website http://sa12.gbrt.org.uk . It rained on the second detail at 600 on Saturday, which was mildly annoying as our range boxes are mostly at Bloemfontein where we haven't been yet. However, one of the opposition told me it was the first time he had been rained on while shooting in 20 years, so there may indeed be a GB advantage.

We move to Bloemfontein tomorrow, where the real work starts. Free State Championships on Thursday and Friday, the Scottish Sword on Saturday, and the South Africa Bisley Union Open Meeting opens a week today, culminating in the Protea Match for international teams and the Final of the State President's Prize a week on Saturday.

Currently half way through our second bottle of Kumala (we went to their place and loved it)

3/4 way through moving out of the shack, raising a glass to the team.

Good luck in Blom.

If you see Cedric and Betts. Tell them I'm saving up to buy some chickens!

I'd say finnishing only 7 points behind an F Class team was a pretty good result :good: ...Look forward to the pics...
