I want to be a TR Shooter

#1 Post by ovenpaa »

Nah, not really!

OK, what I would like is to spend a few minutes with a TR rifle and some words of wisdom just to see how I get on. I have a bondage jacket but no sling nor idea what to do other than pull the trigger and I may not get on with it at all. But I do need to try this discipline.

So do we have a TR shooter that fancies trying an F Open or F/TR or Jagtfeltskydning rifle or a 4(T) or something else or even share my flask of black tea in exchange for some time on a TR rifle in an informal manner.

Careful you might enjoy it :good:
A common mistake that people make when trying to design something completely foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools!!

I zeroed in my new Swing this morning - rested on a bag but still with apperture sights, It was shooting as well as the scoped guys 8-) ...the trick is to do it with only a sling...

If we meet up for a shoot this year, you're more than welcome to use it - I can't do 'words of wisdom', but can show you the correct (for starters..) possition/technique ect.....

...and I'd love to try your AI or F class :good:

Happy to help. Even though I shoot F Class now, I still teach TR (and have a spare sling!!). Apparently it's like riding a bike
