I have a similar setup to Adam there, we moved up here to Northern Michigan last August and I have a large basement that is separated by the stairs leading down to it. On one side is my man cave with telly and stuff and the other side is my reloading and gun storage area. I had a heavy steel door installed where I keep my guns, it is nice and dry and because it's a basement I run a dehumidifier (just in case) 24/7 to keep it that way.

Midway UK sell gun socks, our club secretary got one for his No.4 in our (hugely overcrowded!) club cabinet. Seems to work well for him.

I picked up a "6 pack" as they were on offer, £30 from Midway UK but I ordered mine from the US site for £19 and picked them up during our last trip :)

I got the 52" ones and they fit just about everything apart from my Steyr with the large Sightron scope mounted.
There's room for all Gods creatures, next to the mash and gravy :)
