Some photos of results achieved with lead rifle boolits

I went up to my forest (not mine, just where I stalk!) and did some sighting in.
Have a look at what cast boolits can achieve with the right loads (ignore the hole at the edge of the target put there whilst sighting another rifle):

The best one of the day: Ideal mould 311291 with 27gr Accurate 1680
Image

NOE copy of Lyman 31141 boolit with 30gr Accurate 5744 - too much for the lead alloy used and the rate of twist being too fast
Image

31141 again with 28gr of Accurate 5744 - looks to be the ideal load - I pulled the topmost shot
Image

My elderly helper - the ever helpful Ronnie - my bestest pal
Image

CZ 550 rebarrelled with a Wilson 1 in 10" and chambered 30-06 AI - 24" long
Purveyor of fine cast boolits.
All round good guy and VERY grumpy old man.
