Hi folks
Hopefully someone with Quickload can help me out here. I have unfortunately run out of powder which means I've had to switch, and wanting to preserve my 155.5 BT supply for when I get more H4895, I've used a 175 Berger. unfortunately I was unable to chrono today and next stop is Stickledown.
The load which worked OK was:
175 Berger BT
44.0 IMR4320
Lapua case
Fed 210M primer
COL 2.245 to the ogive
Barrel is a 30-inch 12-twist 5C Broughton.
Hopefully this info is enough to get an approximate muzzle velocity from quickload! Many thanks in advance!!

Re: Muzzle velocity help - quickload assistance required
QL does not work from the Ogive so I would need the true OAL taken from head to meplat. Right now basing your numbers on a nominal 2.850" it looks to be a steady load. Can you also confirm the ID number for the 175's please.
Re: Muzzle velocity help - quickload assistance required
Full OAL 2.905.
Berger part number 30420.
Many thanks :-)

Re: Muzzle velocity help - quickload assistance required
Odd thing though, in terms of pressure was getting flat primers. Could go to 44.5 gr, but at 45.0 primers were all distinctly flat, and one had the soot round the edges so definitely pressure signs. Max load in the Hodgdon book is 45.7gr so I am somewhat puzzled!
