Not with my shoulder... Too many years of MX/Enduro, Climbing and a frozen shoulder have put paid to any more quality time with a longbow.

Re: What should my next rifle be?
Any feelings towards a BPCR such as a Rolling Block or Sharps replica in .45-70 up?
In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

No we are talking, I've just found a Westley Richards, Deeley Edge falling block sporting rifle in 500/450 No2 musket in the back of my obsolete collection so going to give that a whirl over the next few months. It had a set of the real NDFS dies with it so that shows how long I've had the damned thing, Bore is very clean with nice Metford rifling. Phwoarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!
BPCR handloading and shooting is the most satisfying and sophisticated of the shooting arts. :55:
Having got my 50 cals shooting last year its a 45 year for me now, get that No2 Musket hitting the black at at 100, then time to revisit my 577/450 Martini and the 45/70 Trapdoor. Both have great shooting loads but I have new moulds for the two of them both PP and GC to try out.

What about a L/A in 30/30 or a pistol calibre rifle like the Rugers in 44 or 357 Mag? http://www.ruger.com/products/rotaryMag ... odels.html
Perhaps an Armalon in 30 carbine http://www.guntrader.co.uk/GunsForSale/100225134003000 or something different like 250 Savage or 25-06?
