Calendar

#1 Post by Christel »

A few forum members asked for a calendar and it is now available :

www.full-bore.co.uk/webcal

User and pass, please PM me if you want them.

Calendar is really basic, click on the plus on the date in question and a new entry box comes up, only fill in the left side, ignore the right.
Save and your entry should now be displayed for all to see.

It is not your user and pass for the forum, it is a separate log in.

This is a good idea :goodjob:

With 15 club shoots, and hopfully the 3 main Bisley meetings, I'm already wondering where I'm going to fit in my studies between now and October...but would still like to fit in a few shoots with FB members (couldn't make it to ENS's one yesterday :bad: ).

My OU course this year is heavily web and forum based - so on top of looking at a computer screen all week at work, I also have another 10/12 hours at home - There's a limit to how much my eyes can take, so will only be able to check the FB forum a few times a week - And there's the problem...the forum is now pretty busy (not a complaint but a testement to it's success), so if you don't check every couple of days some threads are already on page 3/4 (I would probably have missed this thread, if it weren't for the email)....

....Would it be possible (as well as the calendar) that if any shoots are organised, or someone offers a target share; that the thread be made a 'sticky' until the date has passed...?

I will have a look at how to incorporate the calendar, eg email reminders.

In terms of stickies, perhaps use the calendar or create a separate section on the forum for planned shoots?

I would be in favour of the calendar...

Email reminders when something new is added to calendar would be good - It worked for highlighting this thread....
