International Shippers

#1 Post by Sim G »

Formites!

Quick couple of questions. I've located a particular rifle in the US. It's regarded as a curio/antique in America, however, S1 over here. The guy offered to post it straight to me, but no, not something I want to entertain.

Has anyone used a company to legally ship guns overseas? What was the process? Did you find it complicated and problematic? And, how much would I be looking at?

Many thanks.
In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

Guns dont kill people. Dads with pretty Daughters do...!

Speak to PBS international freight, I've used them to get stuff out of Switzerland and they were helpful and informative

I need to find a way to bring chemicals out of the USA by sea shipping....

Its spray paint for a car & also duracoat epoxy - not an easy task to get into the UK!!

I had a rifle posted to the Uk from the US. Straightforward at this end but don't know what needed doing at the other end. Only advice I had was don't have it routed through Heathrow; it will be impounded. I had it sent through Birmingham and it was a doddle.

Watcher, what kind/calibre of rifle was it? Can you give us more info?
It's not the pace of life that concerns me, it's the sudden stop at the end!
