And that, is as good a reason as any!! :good:
In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

Guns dont kill people. Dads with pretty Daughters do...!

Why havent you blinged it up with a bit of gold plating and fancy jewels Andy then you'd be obliged to shoot it on its side.

Well, I think it looks great - if you send me a pic of at least one meg. I'd like to feature it in Target Shooter magazine. Send to vinceb@targetshooteronline.com

For those who are totally p****d at losing pistols - I am too but get over it guys! The LBP guys are running some great events and I'll be having a dig at S&W at the Shot Show re their 50cal pistol that already has a compensated 12 inch barrel - just needs about 6 inches of steel on the butt!

Cheers

Speaking of Smith, how difficult would it be to manufacture a 12" pistol barrel domestically? I'd love to see someone import some S&W frames (or better yet, Colt) and stick 12" barrels and counterweights on them. Taurus are a lot better than they used to be but Smith/Colt vs Taurus is like Mercedes/BMW vs Kia. Most of all I'd like one of the Wilson Combat .22 conversion kits for the 1911. It's a fixed barrel so making a longer one shouldn't create any mechanical problems, but unlike the GSG it fits onto proper 1911 frames. It's just a case of getting someone to actually make these oversized monstrosities.
