AI/AE 8 round magazines

I have heard that Accuracy International built an 8 round single stack magazine for the AI/AE but never seen one, does anyone know if they exist and if so where I could get one from?

Thats the first i've heard of an 8 Round, unless that was maybe for the Long actioned AWM??

I know originally the AE MK1 only came with a 5 round mag and the AW had a 5 or 10 but they weren't interchangable :cool2:

Apparently it was an early magazine for the single stack AE.

Mmmmm, or have AI just designated their 10 round mags for the AE and AICS as 8? The couple I had with mine you couldn't get 10 in to save your life and 9 was a struggle........!!

Just phoned a mate who bought one of the very first AEs. He's never heard of them.

AE had 5 and could not interchange with AW 10 rounder, seems that has changed now.??

As a standard this rifle isequipped with 5 rounds box magazines, 8 rounds magazines are optional.
